Short description: The environmental microbial bioremediation portal is designed to serve the bioremediation research community. It is hosted by the Multidisciplinary Centre for Integrative Biology (MyCIB) of the University of Nottingham UK, and sponsored by the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) Nigeria. It is being developed in response to wide consultation within the bioremediation sector. In addition to its primary remit of fostering interactions within the community and sharing knowledge on common problems and best practices, this portal seeks to provide computational resources and tools that will support bioremediation research
