Short description: Extract: Site Waste Management Plans (SWMPs) are being considered for introduction as a legal requirement for construction and demolition projects in England and a consultation on the matter has been produced by Defra between April and July 2007. This report has studied the results from the consultation together with other surveys of SWMP users to provide a more detailed cost-benefit analysis for the construction and demolition industry of introducing these plans.
