Short description: Defra and the Welsh Assembly have issued a paper setting out the development and implementation of a 3 year data strategy to cover all UK waste streams with the exception of radioactive wastes. The strategy envisages data being collected on a quarterly basis to include quantity of waste arisings and its subsequent management (including cross border movements), annual data on waste infrastructure provision along with a number of other provisions.
