Short description: Recording and evaluating ground water contaminations caused by point sources of pollution - Detailing the requirements prescribed by the EC Water Framework Directive
Long description: The aim of this report is to detail the requirements of the EC Water Framework Directive for the 'Initial Characterization' and the 'Monitoring and Presentation of the Status of Groundwater Bodies' concerning the identification and characterisation of groundwater strains caused by point sources of pollution. This was achieved by using practical knowledge of investigations of contaminated sites. The description of appropriate standards for a standardised approach will contribute to the discussion between the German states
