Long description: The aim of the PERFORM project is to benchmark and improve sustainability performance in industry. The project covers the following industrial sectors: aggregates, aluminium, cement, ceramics, electricity, glass, motor vehicles, paper, plaster, plastics, printing, steel, timber and water. The project: - offers companies a free sustainability performance benchmarking service; - allows business to enter key performance indicators online and - in return - receive an automatically generated benchmarking report; - works with companies in using benchmarking data to develop improvement programmes; - will use corporate sustainability data to improve our understanding of the social and environmental performance of businesses.
