Short description: This paper presents a human health risk assessment approach to management of groundwater resources as currently used in the INCORE project and highlights differences between the proposed method and standard practice used in groundwater quality assessment based on quality standards. The paper provides a description of human health risk assessment methodology including baseline human health risk assessment (BHHRA) and development of risk-based preliminary remedial goals (RBPRGs).
