The new-created Hyporheic Network is a knowledge transfer network on
groundwater – surface water interactions. We have a strong interest in the
behavior of industrial pollutants in groundwater as they emerge into surface
water, among other issues.
It had a very successful first workshop in June, and isjust about to
establish a series of working groups to discuss both practical and research
issues:
* How to take account of the hyporheic zone in catchment and river
management?
* What knowledge should researchers be providing?
All are welcome to join, especially 'end-users', Just follow the “Register
with the Network” link at http://www.hyporheic.net/.
