Project objectives: 
HYDRATE aims to improve the basis of flash flood forecasting by improving understanding of past events, improving and harmonising the Europe-wide flash flood 
observation strategy  and developing and refining tolls and technologies for flood early warning systems. HYDRATE will collect flash flood data by combining 
hydrometeorological monitoring with data collected in post-event surveys, which will be available in a public access database.
