A form of economic analysis in which costs and benefits are
converted into monetary values for comparison
Economic analyses have an important role in the Hungarian
policies when public financial sources are planned to be
utilized, or when regulatory impact assessments are prepared.
Economic assessments can and must have to occur in several
phases of remediation actions. Cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness
analyses promote the decision-making processes. The results
of these analyses help to identify the optimal target of
the society and the related technical solution.
